My life in England

Hello guys ! Today I'm going to share with you my experience as a student and resident in London.

I decided to leave France to study at one of the best universities in the world: Oxford University.

At the beginning I was apprehensive I asked myself a million questions about how it was going to go am I going to fit in well etc and luckily everything went well Ibspent excellent years at yhe University, I got my diplomas and I met great people.

When I arrived here I thought that the English were arrogant, introverted and unwelcoming but to my surprise these people were very welcoming to me and made me discover their culture. For example, I was able to taste the fish and chips and it was very good:

I was able to visit many places like big ben:

And I was able to ride in a double dekker: it was amazing I recommend it.

The english taught me what britishness is :Britishness means to have the stiff-upper lip ( cool-headed, keeping going whatever the situation is). For me, Britishness is a multicultural society, diversity and not being judgemental.

In particular, I spent a lot of time in stores for shopping, as much to buy souvenirs as to offer gifts to my family and friends in France.

If you want to come to England to live or spend holidays there you can do many activities in the city.

You could visit the Tower Bridge or the Cathedral of Saint Paul.

You should visit the London Eye and the Buckingham Palace.

But if you prefer outdoor activities or if you prefer to sit quietly, you should go see the Hyde Park or the Kensington Gardens.
